New Recipe!

It's hard to find a good lotion—especially an all-natural, oil-based one. Lotion is also one of those products that can be incredibly divisive!

Ultimately, we all want lotion that works over the long-term. What's the use of a creamy, overly-indulgent lotion that makes your skin thirsty again another 45 minutes later?

Our lotion is made with concerns around texture, functionality and spreadability in mind. Although we use both refined and unrefined shea butter (the refining process can remove some of the natural benefits of shea butter) we make up for the difference in raw mango butter and kokum butter—both of which are packed with their own powerful, complimentary mix of nutrients and antioxidants.

This lotion goes on easily, melting quickly on the skin. It stays "greasy" for a short period of time, before being absorbed into the skin. That absorption keeps the skin hydrated for hours on end.

Oh, so satisfying.

Unrefined Shea Butter, Raw Mango Butter, Kokum Butter, Beeswax, Apricot Oil, Palo Santo and Rose Absolute Oil

  • Our lotion is made from ingredients that come from the natural world. We use real herbs and high-quality essential oils and butters that are organic. We don't add preservatives, fillers, synthetics or alcohol. Nothing you can't pronounce. Nothing that might be questionable for the body.

Please remember to always test any body care products on a small section of skin if you are unsure of allergies to confirm our products are safe for you to use.

  • Our lotion is spreadable and full of skin benefits. The ingredients in our lotion are known to be less likely to clog pores.

However, you should still proceed with caution when applying this lotion to the more sensitive skin areas of the face and eyes. What makes natural skincare so tricky is that each person has a unique constitution (oily, dry or neutral). This does not play out so much across the entire body as it does when it comes to the delicate skin of the face.

If you notice acne or irritation, discontinue use. There may be products that are much better suited for facial skincare.

Please remember that bacteria lives all over our body. Always sanitize products before introducing or applying them to new surfaces or containers. In other words, whenever you open this product, make sure your hands (or any tool you use to apply) are clean and dry.
